Song of Dark Tides is a Little Mermaid retelling from Viola's point of view, where she vows to be free of the curse through Triton's firstborn son, Aric. This was such an interesting take on the fairytale and I really enjoyed Viola's character. Cursed as a sea witch, Viola's life was fun to read about and Aric's character was new and exciting! I love retellings and this is one you need to read ASAP!
