Secrets and Shadows is a debut paranormal thriller from A.L. Lynn and I cannot get enough of her writing already! I am ready for another book. There were twists that I wasn't expecting, but they added to the story and had me turning the pages quicker. This is a short book, but perfect to settle down with on a rainy (or snowy) night. At the family cabin that Taylor now owns after the death of her parents, strange happenings begin to occur. I loved the inner dialogue of Taylor, it shows her thoughts as the story progresses and adds to the paranormal part. Great read!
