I cannot tell y'all enough to go and read this one! Scorched is the perfect romantic fantasy book to read, especially with the characters the author has created. Kyra and Jadox are the kind of characters you want to read about because of how entertaining their personalities are. The two clash in the most perfect way possible. If there was one thing to take away from this reading, I know I need to read more of Cassie Swindon's work. This is book one in the trilogy readers, be on the lookout for the other books. I promise you won't be disappointed.
