10 books for the perpetually curious

Sometimes the book we want to read is out of comfort zone. We may be curious about a certain novel, or want to read something others may question. Now, I'm not talking about the most popular books. The most interesting reads are gifted, bought on a whim, or simply because you felt an impulse to purchase something. Here, I present to you my top 10 (multiple genre) books for those who are curious:

  1. The Chaos Function by Jack Skillinstead

  2. Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut

  3. I'm Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid

  4. If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio

  5. Dracul by Dacre Stoker & J.D. Barker

  6. A Fortunate Man by Henrik Pontoppidan

  7. The Last American Vampire by Seth Grahame Smith

  8. The Secret of Magic by Deborah Johnson

  9. The Last Thing He Wanted by Joan Didion

  10. The Grave Digger's Daughter

Now, there is no particular order to which should be read first or last. Each book I have been curious about and have read over the course of the past three years or so.
