House of Bane and Blood is an adult fantasy romance (rivals to lovers) perfect for fans of a spicy, morally grey MMC and marriage of convenience kind of read! Characters Camilla and Nico are truly some of a kind when it comes to a couple in a fantasy world. There is magic, forbidden feelings, and more in this book that I love. Menard gives readers a dive into a new kind of read with the kind of spicy romance that I know readers will love. Reading this book came quite easy for me as I was pulled into the story and its characters quickly. AND it's a series, so you get to come back for more!
